Personality to plan it. Competence to pull it off.
When you book with me, you’re not picking someone with access to a booking engine. You’re picking a person who listens, recommends things for a reason, handles the details and stays in your corner from the first message until you’re back home.

Systems engineer turned travel advisor.
Before travel was my full-time business, I was a systems engineer. My job was requirements, processes, moving pieces and the “what happens if this breaks?” questions. Turns out that’s a pretty great way to plan a trip.
I’ve been planning trips since 2019, and I started Curated Jaunts by Jonné while still working full time, because I believe life is too short to not jaunt around the world. There will always be a reason travel would be easier later. So, I help people turn “we should go” into a trip they actually take.
The engineer never left. I research thoroughly, ask a lot of questions, notice details and plan for the things that could go sideways, so you don’t have to.
So, what’s a jaunt?
a short, brief trip or excursion taken for pleasure, relaxation or fun.
That’s the whole point. Every trip I plan should feel like something you get to do, not one more thing you have to manage.
Every recommendation has a reason.
Before I recommend anything, I learn who’s traveling, why you’re going, how you like to travel and what matters most to you.
I don’t make you travel like me. I learn how you want to travel and curate around that.
“This is a good hotel.”
“This is a good hotel for you, for this trip, for these reasons.”
Travel is unpredictable. You won’t be alone in it.
I can’t promise nothing will go wrong. I can promise you’ll have someone knowledgeable in your corner who understands your trip and is invested in helping you navigate it. From planning through travel, I stay involved. I don’t stop at wheels up.
How I think about travel
- 01Travel is worth making room for.
Life doesn’t have to be perfect before you experience it.
- 02Cheapest isn’t automatically best.
Price matters, but so does comfort, convenience, quality, location and the experience itself.
- 03Budget matters, but it’s not the whole conversation.
The goal is lining up your expectations, your priorities and what you invest.
- 04Planning is real work.
Research, expertise, communication, supplier management and support are professional labor, and they have value.
- 05You should know what you’re buying.
Policies, protection, deposits, room categories, transfers: I explain the details so you can decide with confidence.
- 06There’s no one-size-fits-all trip.
Recommendations should fit you, not whatever’s easiest to sell.
We’ll work well together if…
- You value travel enough to make it a priority
- You want expertise, not just someone to click “book”
- You want recommendations based on how you actually like to travel
- You respond when it’s decision time, and you can make the call
- You’d rather spend your money intentionally than chase the lowest price
- You want guidance, while the final say stays yours
