There are a thousand apps that’ll let you book a trip in five minutes. So why use a travel agent? Because “booked” and “booked right” aren’t the same thing, and you usually find out the difference after you land.

Before you hit “Book” on Expedia, here’s what you’re actually getting when you work with me.

1. Perks you often can’t get booking direct
Through my supplier relationships, I can often add perks like resort credits, upgrades when available, or amenities that aren’t offered if you book on your own. I also know which tours and experiences are actually worth it in a destination you’ve never been to, so you’re not finding out about the good stuff on your last day.

2. Better timing, not just a better destination
I know when places get crowded, when prices spike, and when waiting a few weeks gets you a much better trip. Sometimes the best advice is “not that week.”

3. Someone in your corner when things go wrong
Flights get canceled, rooms aren’t what was promised, and transfers don’t show up. When something goes sideways, you call me, and I’ll push for the best possible fix, whether that’s rebooking, a better room, or getting the supplier to make it right.

4. The real cost, not the cheapest-looking price
A package can look cheaper online and cost more by the time you add transfers, fees, and the stuff that wasn’t included. I’ll show you what the trip actually costs up front. And if your budget doesn’t match what you’re hoping for, I’ll tell you before you book, not after.

5. A trip built for you, not your feed
There’s a difference between travel inspiration and what you actually want out of a trip. A destination can look amazing on Instagram and be completely wrong for how you like to travel. Part of my job is figuring out what you really want, then building the trip around that. All you have to do is get to the airport on time.
